2021 ACG’s Functional Disorders

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Join colleagues in St. Louis for ACG’s 1-day Functional GI Disorders School and weekend Midwest Regional Postgraduate Course.

 

ACG’s Functional GI Disorders School, to be held on Friday, August 13, is a day-long interactive program that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and understanding of IBS and other functional disease states.

 

This program is designed to better enable clinical gastroenterologists and their advanced practice provider colleagues to triage, treat, and refer patients more efficiently.

Led by Course Directors Edith Y. Ho, MD, MS, FACG, and Mark E. Mailliard, MD, FACG, the Midwest Regional Postgraduate Course, offered on Saturday and Sunday, August 14-15, will focus on areas such as IBD, colon, liver, pancreaticobiliary, small bowel, stomach and esophagus, and hepatology.

ACG/VGS/ODSGNA Regional

Location: Williamsburg, Virginia

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Join colleagues in Williamsburg for ACG’s 1-day Hepatology School and weekend ACG/VGS/ODSGNA Regional Postgraduate Course.

ACG’s Hepatology School, to be held on Friday, September 10, is a day-long interactive program that provides comprehensive education for GI clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of liver disease states. This program is designed to better enable clinical gastroenterologists and their advanced practice provider colleagues to triage, treat, and refer patients more efficiently.

The ACG/VGS/ODSGNA Regional Postgraduate Course will be offered all day Saturday and a half-day Sunday, with an agenda that will include presentations on management of eosinophilic gastritis and enteritis, managing the short bowel syndrome patient, chronic pancreatitis, nutrition in chronic liver disease, dysplasia surveillance in IBD, advances in EUS for vascular and liver disease, management of gas and bloating, and an update on nonvariceal upper GI bleeding. In addition, a Red Journal Wrap-Up presentation, an update on the Virginia Colorectal Cancer Roundtable, and a talk on managing your brand in the era of social media are scheduled. The program will also feature a special ODSGNA-sponsored Endoscopy Boot Camp on Saturday afternoon, as well as the always popular fellows’ case presentation session.

ACG 2021 Annual Scientific

Meeting and Postgraduate Course

 

Dates: October 22-27, 2021

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

is being planned as a hybrid conference, with attendees having the option of registering to attend in-person in Las Vegas, virtually via the online platform, or both. The in-person meeting will take place October 22-27 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, with appropriate safety protocols in place. Virtual access to the sessions will begin on October 22 and will be available to both in-person and virtual attendees on the conference platform until March 31, 2022.

 

\ In-person attendees will have access to everything you expect at live ACG conferences as well as access to the sessions on the virtual conference platform based on your registration.

 

\ Virtual attendees will have access to the livestreamed sessions during the conference dates and remaining sessions on-demand following the conference based on your registration.

 

\ All attendees will have access to presentation handouts, slides, and on-demand content on the platform (based on course registration) until March 31, 2022; handouts and slides will remain available on the mobile app after that date.

NOTE: Registration for in-person attendance may be limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. We encourage you to register early if you plan to join us in Las Vegas, as in-person spots may sell out.
